Obaidat pointed out that despite the enormous pressure from insured and exempt patients as well as financial challenges, the University Hospital stands out for its services, provided by an excellent medical staff in practical and academic terms, and for its precise specialties, which are almost unavailable wherever they are, and expressed his pleasure at this visit and the Committee’s interest in reviewing the services provided to citizens and the challenges they face.
He referred to the new dental treatment building, which consists of five floors with a capacity of 250 dental chairs, and pointed out that two floors of the building with a total area of 8,000 square meters are dedicated to the construction of advanced medical centers. to improve services in the areas of special surgery and cardiac catheterization.
Obaidat confirmed the hospital’s readiness to receive the wounded in the Gaza Strip and described the University of Jordan and its hospital as an integral part of the Jordanian government’s policy of support and assistance to the brothers in Palestine, pointing to the personal initiative of the hospital’s doctors , to waive any fees in return for the treatment of war-wounded people in Gaza.
