Dr. Bahaa confirmed that the best foods for flu and cold are fruits in general, especially citrus fruits such as oranges, tangerines and guavas, as they are fruits rich in vitamin C.
He recommended eating red proteins such as meat and liver, as well as eating lots of potatoes, especially when hot, to reduce the activity of the virus.
