The Board of Directors of the National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre and Mapping (ANCFCC) met on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, chaired by Mohammed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests With the participation of Abdeltif Loudyi, Minister Delegate the head of government, responsible for the National Defense Administration, as well as representatives of other ministries and members of the administrative board.
At the beginning of the Council meeting, the President noted with great satisfaction the significant successes and achievements of the Agency in the areas of land registration, cartography and on a financial level for the 2023 financial year.
He also congratulated the ANCFCC for its participation in various government projects and projects as well as its cooperation with all ministries and public institutions.
Karim Tajmouati, Director General of the ANCFCC, presented the various items on the agenda and highlighted the achievements as of December 31, 2023, in particular: the establishment of 460,000 new land titles throughout the Kingdom, an increase of 5%; Land registration of 1.2 million hectares, an increase of 67%; the issuance of 2,000,000 digital ownership certificates, an increase of 11%; achieving a turnover of Dh8.4 billion, an increase of 5% and paying Dh5 billion to the state budget, of which Dh4 billion to the general state budget and one billion dirhams to the special fund to deal with the impact of the Al Haouz earthquake as well as the continuation of the strategy to revise the information system and strengthen the digital offer for both citizens and professionals.
The Director General also presented the budget and action plan for the 2024 fiscal year, the main objectives of which are the increase of the registered area, the continuation of the mapping program and the continuity of the agency’s structuring projects.
These projects mainly concern the revision and security of the Agency’s information system, the consolidation of the dematerialization system, the revision of the archiving system and the improvement of the quality of services provided to citizens.
After the discussion, the Council confirmed the 2024 Action Plan, approved the budget for the 2024 financial year and adopted all the decisions proposed by the Agency.
The President and members of the Board of Directors praised the achievements achieved by the agency in terms of land registration and process modernization.
Before concluding the Council meeting, the President congratulated all the agency’s leaders and staff at central and external service levels for their efforts to achieve the achieved results.
