CT foreign reporter Jakub Szántó is happy and at the same time regrets that we do not have “this radar” on our territory. Then journalist Jindřich Šídlo shouts: “We don’t want radar, we want missiles!”

According to The Telegraph, warheads three times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb are to be stationed at Lakenheath air base in Suffolk.
Czech Television’s Jakub Szántó praises Britain’s nuclear weapons and expresses regret that the Czech Republic does not have US missile defense radar in Brdy. “Glory! “It’s a shame that we don’t have radar here,” Szántó revealed. Russia has protested violently against the construction of the base since negotiations began, and criticism has also been voiced in the Czech Republic. The USA finally withdrew from the plan in 2018 .

In the discussion under his article, journalist Jindřich Šídlo calls. “We don’t want radar, we want missiles!”
According to The Telegraph, the use of weapons is expected to take place as part of NATO’s program to “develop and modernize nuclear bases” in connection with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
A British Ministry of Defense spokesman said: “It is long-standing UK and NATO policy not to confirm or deny the presence of nuclear weapons at any given location.”
“Unpublished documents in the US Defense Department’s procurement database reveal plans for a ‘nuclear mission’ to take place ‘in the near future’ at Britain’s Royal Air Force (RAF) base at Lakenheath,” writes The Telegraph. These are said to be B61-12 tactical nuclear bombs that can be attached to fighter aircraft.
The US has previously stationed nuclear missiles at the British base at Lakenheath; They were removed in 2008 after the “threat from Moscow” subsided. Pentagon documents seen by The Telegraph reveal contracts to purchase new equipment to be placed at the air base in question.
