Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Tabuk region attracts numerous visitors from all over the world due to its unique and distinctive nature, but there is one place that is particularly unique and inevitably attracts the attention of visitors, and it is known as “Al Shaq”.
The Saudi News Agency said on its official website that the site forms a slope of flat land and includes a deep valley.
The height of both sides of the valley reaches about 450 meters and extends for a distance of about 70 kilometers east of the Red Sea.
This crack formed in the bedrock of the Arabian Shield, which dates back to the Precambrian period. It is covered with rock layers of sandstone from the Cambrian period.
The lens of Saudi photographers Muhammad Al-Sharif and Fahd Al-Assaf captured some of the aesthetic features of this place. (Watch the video above)
Al-Sharif said in an interview with CNN Arabic: “A view that you will not find anywhere… The site is very beautiful, which motivates me to visit it again soon.”
This was reported by the Saudi news agency “SPA”. The “cleft” is considered one of the most beautiful natural geological landmarks, which explains that it is considered one of the clearest contact boundaries between the rocks of the Arabian Shield below and the rocks of the sedimentary cover above.
The above scenes attracted the admiration of many of Al-Sharif’s followers on social media.
It is recommended to visit it in winter, especially after rains.
