Two players of the Premier League whose identity has not been revealed were arrested and interrogated last weekend as part of an investigation into alleged rape. Both belong to the same club and the arrest took place in their own stadium.
According to English media, the events occurred on Friday night. The police showed up at the stadium the next day and spoke initially with one of the footballers in question, aged 19, when he was being investigated for assault and complicity in a rape. Afterwards, he spoke with the second footballer, also 19 years old, for the same reason. Both were released on bail the next day.

“As the matter is in the hands of the police, the club will not comment on the matter,” said the club to which both players belong, according to The Sun.
