A 70-year-old man in Wales, UK, found it strange to find a tidy workshop table in his garden every morning. So he set up a camera and discovered that there was a mouse keeping order there night after night. Experts aren’t sure what causes their behavior, but they believe the rodents simply enjoy it.

What about Czech readers? Four-leaf clover I have known a British pensioner since the mid-1980s in a natural version. Myšpulín’s cleaning robot MIS didn’t quite work out, but Rodney Holbrook from Builth Wells can rely on the hard work and hard work of his live rodent.
The 75-year-old retired postman is a passionate nature photographer. But he never thought that he would have the biggest surprise with the behavior of animals at home in the backyard, writes the British BBC.

Holbrook had noticed for some time that the things he had left on the table in the workshop had mysteriously been tidied up overnight. When it took two months, he set up a night vision camera on the table. And he couldn’t believe his eyes. A mouse was cleaning his desk. “Ninety-nine times out of a hundred Mouse She cleans at night. It’s unbelievable that he puts everything back in the box. I would say she must be enjoying it. In the evening I just leave the things there and in the morning they are in their place. “My wife would clean up that mouse somewhere if I left it there,” the man joked.
The animal kingdom is full of surprises:
Incredible compassion: A group of crocodiles in India rescued a dog, the case puzzles scientists
He called the rodent the ordinary Welsh mouse. He watched the video from his own workshop with amazement, even though he had seen something similar several years ago. At the time he was living in Bristol, seventy miles away, where his friend also did not understand what was happening in his workshop. He kept finding screws and metal objects in the bird feeder. He began to doubt his sanity and thought the closet might be haunted, the BBC described his story in 2019.
A ghost in the workshop?
“I thought something strange was going on. So I didn’t have the ghost in the workshop yet. I was a little scared too. You know, I’m seventy-two, and gentlemen of that age sometimes get confused in their heads. When it turned out that the problem wasn’t in my head, I was happy. “Still, my neighbor and I stared at the video in disbelief,” the BBC’s Steve Mckears said at the time.
Scientists have discovered that elephants call each other by name. This makes them the first animals ever to communicate in this special way:
A unique discovery from the animal world: each elephant has its own name, others call it that
Holbrook has now confirmed to the station that he was the neighbor. “The video went viral around the world at the time, so to see it back here in Builth Wells is incredible,” he said.
The Guardian pointed out that mice are naturally clean and tidy. And also curious. Still, experts are hesitant to explain cleaning in the workshop. “I don’t think that mouse would look around and say, ‘This is a mess, I need to clean it up.’ “But it’s natural for mice to go out, pick things up and put them somewhere they like to keep them,” Megan Jackson of the University of Bristol, who studies the foraging behavior of laboratory mice, told the newspaper.

Jackson thinks the mouse probably just enjoys cleaning. “She is engaged in a seemingly useless activity, so there must be something about it that is of use to her.” As humans, we enjoy different aspects of our lives. “It’s kind of nice to see a mouse do something that isn’t absolutely necessary,” Jackson said.
According to scientists, chimpanzees can act with great empathy. They treat injuries sustained by their fellow species:

The fascinating wildlife always brings new attractions. The newspaper recently reported that scientists had discovered these elephants are addressed by their proper names and they also found an explanation as to how these octopuses came to the tribes.
