Within the framework of his work day in Chaco, the President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, shared an emotional meeting with the educational community of the Escuela Mayor Ramón Bejarano de Fuerte Olimpo. On the occasion, he ratified his commitment to strengthening education.
Peña moved this Friday along with the first lady, Leticia Ocampo, and her delegation of ministers to the district of Fuerte Olimpo, in the department of Alto Paraguay, where she developed her agenda of activities that included everything from the inauguration of a new USF to the verification of the Bioceánica Bridge.
“We shared an emotional meeting with the children of the Ramón Bejarano Senior School in Fuerte Olimpo,” wrote the head of state through his official account on X (former Twitter).
He also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to strengthening education in order to provide greater opportunities for boys and girls throughout the country, mainly in the most vulnerable communities.
This is not the first time that Santiago Peña shares a day of reading with the students, considering that last August 16, after assuming leadership of the Executive, his first official activity was the promotion of reading with students of the Basic School Federal Republic of Germany.
Likewise, he replicated this activity last month with basic level students from the “Encarnación Alum de Vive” School in Paraguarí, to whom he instilled the importance of generating reading spaces to reinforce the learning process.
