Accompanied in particular by the governor of the prefecture of Meknes, Abdelghani Sabbar, the minister launched five urban health centers in the city of Meknes.
These are first-level structures, namely the Sidi Said Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Respiratory Diseases and the Beni Mhammed, Al Basatine, Sbata and Sidi Amer centers.

The deployment of the services of these health establishments is part of the policy of rehabilitation and renovation of public health establishments, in accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, relating to the launch of a substantial reform of the system national health system with a view to promoting the implementation of the generalization of health coverage and social protection.
These health establishments, which are part of the new generation of primary health care establishments, will provide a varied range of health services and a range of treatments including general medical consultations and nursing care.
They will also monitor chronic diseases, notably tuberculosis, respiratory diseases, diabetes and high blood pressure, in addition to monitoring maternal and child health, school health, as well as health awareness and education services.
These health centers aim to strengthen the supply of health services in the Fez-Meknes region and to bring health services closer to the citizens targeted by these services.
