Before, when the epidemic was severe, many companies and schools used online meetings or classes to survive the difficult period of the epidemic. However, online meetings or classes required screen sharing and everyone had to download other apps for video conferencing and communication. Share the action from the screen. The software needed for each meeting or course is not consistent, which often leads to problems. Today I will teach Apple users how to use Apple’s built-in features to make free video calls and share the screen to watch videos together or swipe on the phone.

If you want to use FaceTime’s free calling and video features, you’ll first need to confirm two things in Settings. First, go to Settings, search for FaceTime, click it, and confirm that FaceTime and Simulcast Sharing are both turned on.
Once turned on, go to Contacts and select the friend you want to FaceTime or video chat with. Click “FaceTime” to video or call your friend for free!
To share your screen via FaceTime video, click Share and select Share My Screen or Listen and Play Games Together. Of course, if you want to discuss things in a group, you can also use Apple’s built-in Safari, Files, Memos, and Limitless Notes features.
Share my screen
The split screen will appear on both parties’ video screen. Even if you’re in a long-distance relationship, you may still feel like you’re moving your phone next to the other party.
Listen and play games together
You can watch videos or listen to music with your friends while using FaceTime or video chat. On the sharing screen, click “YouTube” to share the video you want to watch with your chat partner. Chat partners should also remember to enable “Participate in Simulcast Sharing.”
Group discussion
If you need to complete a report at work or school, you can also discuss it over FaceTime. You can share “Safari”, “Files”, “Memos”, “Unlimited Notes” and other content with the chat partner and you can add all group members. Go to FaceTime to discuss the report content.
Click the “exclamation mark” in the upper right corner, click “Add Contact,” enter the phone number or contact person you want to add in the field, and click “Add Contact” to share the report to discuss.
Apple’s built-in apps such as Notes and Boundless Notes can share content via FaceTime Sharing. The other party can also join in and change the information together.
