Russia conducted a significant missile strike on Ukrainian energy facilities overnight, marking the most extensive aerial assault by Russian forces in recent weeks.
Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk revealed that Russia deployed 76 air attack weapons, including 55 missiles and 21 drones, originating from Russian territories. The Ukrainian forces managed to destroy 59 of these weapons during the attack.
The assault specifically targeted power generation and transmission sites in various regions of Ukraine, including Poltava, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Vinnytsia, as reported by the country's Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.
Halushchenko emphasized the importance of conserving electricity in the face of the enemy's attempts to disrupt the energy supply, urging citizens to contribute to the nation's victory.
Reports indicated that three individuals sustained injuries during the attack, with two adults and a child requiring medical attention for their wounds.

Moscow has intensified its efforts to disrupt Ukraine's energy infrastructure in recent weeks, coinciding with challenges faced by Ukrainian troops in maintaining strategic positions, particularly in the eastern regions.
The delay in the US Congress approving $61 billion in military aid to Kyiv may have lasting repercussions on the frontline operations for an extended period.
Russian forces exploited the "artillery drought" that weakened Ukraine's defenses to advance near Avdiivka on the eastern front, marking significant progress ahead of an anticipated Russian offensive.
The latest attack by Russia targeted three thermal power plants operated by DTEK, Ukraine's largest power company, marking the fifth assault on its infrastructure within a short timeframe. Ukrenergo, the state-owned grid operator, also reported damage to generation facilities.
Two critical energy infrastructure sites in the Lviv region were also hit, further exacerbating the impact on the region's energy supply, according to regional military official Maksym Kozytskyi.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky assured that all necessary services are actively working to mitigate the consequences of the Russian attacks, emphasizing the global need to recognize and combat the threat of new Nazism.
Zelensky's statements come as Ukraine commemorates the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II, underscoring the ongoing struggle against historical ideologies of hatred and oppression.

Roccella contested during the States General of Natality – Last hour
Protests at the General States of Birth when the minister for the family Eugenia Roccella took the floor and signs were raised in the audience that spelled out the words: “I decide”. A group of students challenged the minister. As soon as Roccella spoke, the whistles and screams began which prevented her from carrying out her speech. At that point Roccella, addressing the demonstrators, took the microphone and said: “Guys, we agree, but no one said that someone else decides on women’s bodies, absolutely no one.” But the protest continued.
One of the demonstrators spoke briefly into the microphone, but was then interrupted by organizer Gigi De Palo, saying: “But this is a monologue.” So while the protest continued, De Palo himself decided to give the floor to other guests, postponing Roccella’s intervention who first left the stage and then the Auditorium. The work is continuing but the situation in the theater has not yet returned to normal
