NTDEV is known for its Tiny11 project. The aim is to significantly reduce the size of Windows 11 by removing many unnecessary elements. This time, however, NTDEV went many steps further. His goal was to find out how much the system could be scaled down so that it would still run.
Windows 11 in size 100 MB
This idea came to him from one of his fans. NTDEV took on this task and managed to shrink Windows to just 100 MB. Of course, this required drastic measures, such as removing all graphic elements. All that’s left is the command line. In addition, the system even offers a kind of multitasking.
One can argue that it is still Windows, but the software was created based on Microsoft Windows. Probably no one would want to use such an operating system. Additionally, it is not downloadable, at least for now.
NTDEV is best known for significantly reducing the size of Windows 10 (Tiny10) and Windows 11 (Tiny11). He was able to reduce the latter to just 4 GB. He installed it on a flash drive and even in the frame buffer of the GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card.
