Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
National Research and Innovation Agency (BRAIN) reveals the reasons why Indonesia is a region that tends to indicate intervention satellitethat is because of its location in the area equatorial anomaly.
Indonesia is known as a unique country because of its position in the region equatorial anomalyor rather at geomagnetic latitude.
This situation causes many phenomena to appear, including onions plasma bubble or depression bubbles in the ionosphere layer which is part of the upper atmosphere at an altitude of 60-1000 kilometers above the Earth’s surface.
This phenomenon is known to cause interference with the propagation or transmission of radio waves, including satellite signals. This phenomenon is even more intense when the solar activity is high.
Satellite signals are said to experience interference, both in amplitude and phase when they pass through the ionosphere, which is disturbed by the concentration of ions and electrons.
Asnawi, Associate Research Scientist at the BRIN Space Research Centre, said that the density of ions and electrons is at this level.
“Especially at an altitude of 300-400 kilometers, which could reflect radio waves effectively. In addition, it also affects signals from Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) satellites, so it can affect the accuracy of position measurements,” he said in his statement on his taken from the website. BRAINTuesday (30/4).
In general, solar activity affects ionospheric dynamics. Therefore, when the activity is high, the number of electrons is very high.
“Due to the space weather, the frequency of satellite signals will be blocked. So it is necessary to study, and we will see the behavior of the ionosphere in Indonesia,” he said.
“Several events occur in the ionosphere layer that can interfere with satellite signals, and which can be expected earlier,” he said.
The ionosphere itself is created by ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the Sun which ionises atoms and molecules in the atmosphere. The ionosphere consists of several layers based on molecular and ion components, called D, E, and F which are further divided into F1 and F2.
The height of these layers in the ionosphere can vary, depending on time and space. Certain parts of the ionosphere can be thicker or thinner, depending on solar activity, time of day, and geographic location.
The cause of disturbances in the ionosphere itself is related to space weather, namely the activity of the sun, which has special classes. The active sun is known to emit flares, which is the phenomenon of large explosions in the solar atmosphere.
“When the Sun is a giant phenomenon, it will carry large particles with the solar wind. Then it will enter the ionosphere layer where the charge of the electron will increase. This layer will absorb electromagnetic radio waves,” explained Asnawi.
In addition, the dynamics of the ionosphere affects communication and navigation technology. One of the consequences is that we cannot communicate or that communication is delayed, due to differences in the density and reflection of signals.

Shinji Mikami’s Brief Thoughts on Tango Gameworks Closure: ‘Sad’
Tango Gameworks Founder Shinji Mikami Comments on Studio Closure
In a surprising turn of events, it has been revealed that Tango Gameworks, the renowned game development studio behind titles such as The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo, is being shut down. The news has left many fans and industry insiders shocked, wondering about the fate of the studio and its founder, Shinji Mikami.
Mikami, who is famous for directing the Resident Evil series, offered his thoughts on the closure in a brief statement on Twitter. He simply wrote, “Tango closed. Sad.” This tweet from the renowned game director has stirred up a whirlwind of emotions among fans.
The closure of Tango Gameworks marks the end of an era. Founded by Mikami in 2010, the studio has been known for its unique and innovative game design. Their most recent release, Hi-Fi Rush, received critical acclaim and surprised players with its thrilling gameplay. However, after over a decade of success, Tango Gameworks is now facing an uncertain future.
It was just last year that Bethesda, the parent company of Tango Gameworks, announced that Mikami would be leaving the studio in the coming months. This news came as a shock to many, as Mikami’s contributions to the industry and his leadership at Tango Gameworks were highly regarded.
In a recent interview, Mikami explained his decision to leave the studio. He stated that he had been contemplating this move for eight years, as he wanted to create space for younger talent to flourish and explore new opportunities. Mikami also expressed his desire to work on smaller, more unique projects in the future.
The closure of Tango Gameworks is part of a larger wave of cuts within Microsoft, which acquired parent company Zenimax Media in 2021. Alongside Tango Gameworks, other studios like Arkane Austin and Alpha Dog Games are also being shuttered. This series of closures has raised concerns about the future of the gaming industry, as beloved studios are being forced to close their doors.
The implications of these closures extend beyond just the affected studios. Players and fans of these games are left wondering about the fate of ongoing projects and possible sequels. For example, with the closure of Tango Gameworks, the future of the fan-favorite franchise, The Evil Within, remains uncertain.
Furthermore, these closures highlight the increasing challenges faced by game development studios. As the industry evolves, studios must constantly adapt to changing market demands and investor expectations. The closure of Tango Gameworks serves as a stark reminder that even successful studios are not immune to these pressures.
Looking ahead, it is crucial for the gaming industry to support and nurture new talent. The closure of Tango Gameworks and other studios emphasizes the need for diverse and robust ecosystems that allow developers to thrive and bring fresh ideas to the table. Creating an environment that fosters innovation will be key to shaping the future of gaming.
As the industry moves forward, it will be interesting to see how game developers navigate these challenges and adapt to the changing landscape. It is important for established studios to embrace new technologies and trends, while also providing opportunities for up-and-coming developers to make their mark.
In conclusion, the closure of Tango Gameworks has sent shockwaves through the gaming community. It marks the end of an era for a studio that has consistently delivered memorable experiences. However, it also serves as a reminder of the ever-evolving nature of the industry and the need for continuous innovation and support for emerging talent.
