Cyberpunk Cyberpunk, but still the most famous red title, is the third Witcher. The game received a next-gen update a while ago (not without problems, but still) and a mod editor was promised for this year that will allow players to create Geralt’s stories themselves. Dziki Gon is constantly used by the modding community. And one of the more recent projects shows how much more can be gained from it.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has just received the Eternal Hunt modification, which represents a comprehensive evolution of most aspects of the game.
CD Projekt RED reveals many details about The Witcher 4, Cyberpunk Orion and the The Witcher 1 remake
It’s worth noting at the outset that the creator of the mod himself notes on Nexus Mods that Eternal Hunt is primarily intended for those who have previously played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. There isn’t much video footage on this, but the description of new features or fixes can be encouraging in itself. For example, we get a lot of new items related to equipment – including: Over 100 weapons, including those of Imlerith, Caranthir and Eredin, attacks receive special animations and the entire system recognizes weapons added by other modders. Speaking of animations, there will even be moves tailored specifically to a particular school of sorcerers, alternate modes for dodging, attacking, parrying, auto-aiming, and even eating and drinking. Stealth options have also been implemented and enemies have many more attack options available – this also applies to bosses, so Eredin, for example, will pose a greater challenge.
Update for The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings with support for macOS Ventura
In fact, it’s difficult to find an element of gameplay that hasn’t been improved or completely reimagined in some way. Eternal Hunt, for example, offers the introduction of random encounters with powerful enemies (even those with the rank of Wild Hunt leader) – depending on which element of the pack is installed. Some may appear as a result of completing a quest in a certain way (e.g. by killing a specific NPC). The mod also introduces real-time meditation, optional improvements – such as removing the inventory weight limit and maximum weapon durability – and certain unique items can manipulate the weather, summon various creatures, and even allow you to transform into another being . Such a drastic change might not be for everyone, but maybe someone will find a few features they can just try out. Below you will find some interesting videos from the past few weeks:
