The police searched Arnold’s luggage and found an exclusive watch there, which the actor most likely did not declare on the immigration customs form. The value of the watch can be estimated at around 26,000 euros.
“We have initiated criminal proceedings in the area of taxes. “The watch had to be registered because it is an imported item,” said a representative of the main customs office in Munich.
In addition, according to the Bild newspaper, German law enforcement officers collected several thousand euros from Schwarzenegger, including four thousand euros in taxes and five thousand euros in money.
The actor is said to have offered to pay the fee by credit card, but German customs regulations require that half of the fee be paid in cash. Customs officials reportedly accompanied Schwarzenegger to a bank to withdraw cash before allowing him to continue his journey.
This watch was specially made for the actor by the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet. The watch is expected to be sold on Thursday at an auction in the legendary Austrian sports town of Kitzbühel, which will be presided over by Schwarzenegger himself.

Thanks to his charity Climate Initiative, the auction will also be preceded by a training session with Arnold himself, an art exhibition, and stories from the world of sports and cinema.
Schwarzenegger has been fighting against pollution and climate change for more than 20 years. His approach was always based on the idea that we need to “talk less, do more.”
