The “18 Districts Are Colorful Day and Night” campaign was launched today, with the Central and Western Districts taking the lead in implementing the first activity and setting up market stalls.
Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr. Chan Kwok-kee attended the opening ceremony and visited various booths. He hopes the event can provide more good places for citizens.
Some mainland tourists said they came here specifically to experience Hong Kong culture and found the event very attractive; Some Sheung Wan residents said the products were very unique and had a nostalgic taste.
Some cooking stall owners believe that cooking restrictions at market stalls affect the variety of food on offer.
