“Talsu NSS/Krauzers” defeats the Ulbro people in a shootout
The match between the teams “FS Masters/Ulbroka” and “Talsu NSS/Krauzers” at the Ulbroka sports complex started well for the home team, which took a 3-0 lead within 13 minutes. Jurgis Patriks Aizupietis, Valters Lapiņš and Toms Bitmanis each put the ball into the Talsi team’s goal. The guests only scored their first goal in the 18th minute, and when they were outnumbered – 1:3 – Maris Bergmanis scored the goal. After the second period, Ulbroci only had a one-goal lead – 4:3 – but two minutes before the end of regular time the Tals floorballers were already in the lead 6:5. At the end of the 59th minute, Aizupietis managed to restore the score to 6:6. The score didn’t change in the ten minutes of extra time, but the guests did better when it came to follow-up shots. While Kristers Babris scored the only “goal” for Ulbroka’s team, the Talsi players responded with goals from Andrej Škerberg, Art Raitum and Adrian Spunde, which secured “Talsa NSS/Krauzers” a 7:6 victory and two points in the tournament Table.
Ķekavies are convincingly superior to “Bauska”.
“Ķekava/RB&B”, which is desperately fighting to qualify for the playoffs, visited “Bauskas”, the bottom of the tournament, this evening. “Lekrings” wins away at “RTU/Rockets”.
“Lekrings” from Cēsis took a 1-0 lead in the 4th minute after a shot from Emil Dzalb during a guest game at “RTU/Rockets” in Riga. In the 9th minute, Riga’s Renārs Preijers responded with a goal (1:1), but after the first half the guests again had a minimal lead – 2:1. At the beginning of the second period, the home team managed to take the lead 3:2, but in the second break the Cesians responded with two goals – 4:3. The last quarter was very effective, but “Lekrings” scored more goals, which resulted in a convincing victory with 11:6.
