Joaquín Torres, one of the most well-known and media architects in our country, has reappeared on television while living one of the darkest periods of his life, at all levels. The death of his mother, legal problems, a serious marital crisis and various health complications that took him urgently to the hospital.
The one known as “the architect of the famous” reappeared in Mornings on La1 to respond to all the controversies in which he is the protagonist, and he could not help but burst into tears, overcome by the very complicated situation that he is experiencing in his life. “I think mom left to save my life,” he said, excited.
The architect almost brought himself to tears when talking about his parents and the problems with his brother, Julio Torres, due to the mismanagement of his millionaire estate, which ended up in court. “All the lawsuits against my brother are from my parents. My parents were sick and vulnerable. “My mother left because she could no longer bear the physical or emotional pain,” the architect continued, between sobs.
“Mom’s pain was inhuman. She suffered the unspeakable.” In the moments of his farewell, before dying, the architect even told his mother that they would call Julio if that was his wish, something she refused. “I want to die in peace,” she told him. “What does a mother have to go through to say that? Up to what point?”.
The architect’s father is still alive, and continues to fight in court with his son Julio. The architect is convinced that his brother’s time will come with the law: “he will have his tax havens, but his greed will not go unpunished.”
In addition to this whole family crisis, the architect has another matter pending in court, and that is that he has just filed a lawsuit against Mediaset, the audiovisual group where his husband, Raúl Prieto, works.
The architect has decided to take legal action against Socialite after a phone call was played in said space last October, still presented by María Patiño, in which she talked about the renovation of Tamara Falcó’s house, which he took charge of.
Some words that generated a stir in the media between the architect and his famous client, which according to the professional, the program aired without her consent and with phrases out of context. Torres has seen his rights violated, so he asks the justice system to take action.
He denies his crisis with Raúl Prieto: “The relationship has become stronger”
With this decision, the architect has created a new front of disagreement in his marriage with Raúl Prieto, who works as a director at the network and who would have asked him, as confirmed by Torres himself, not to sue the Fuencarrral group.
Even so, the architect confesses that having initiated the legal procedures has not caused their relationship to fall apart. “There has been no crisis with Raúl Prieto,” he clarified. “What there has been is a lot of pain. I had no life. I have paid for it with my husband. I said that he believed that he had to distance himself

Judge speaks plainly after Trump again violates gag order: “If necessary, I will impose a prison sentence”
Donald Trump has been fined again by the judge for violating his gag order. It is already the tenth time since the start of the trial against him that he has been fined. The judge therefore spoke plainly to the former American president.
A new week in the trial against Trump surrounding the hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels, a new riot. The former president was fined $1,000 by Judge Juan Merchan for the tenth time because he violated the gag order in his trial. Trump has already attacked jurors several times on his own social medium Truth Social and other media, and according to Merchan he is endangering them.
In this case, Trump had said in an interview broadcast on April 22 that the jury was “picked too quickly.” “95 percent of them are Democrats. Everything there belongs to the Democrats.”

When he handed down the fine, Merchan also used threatening language against the former president. “Mr. Trump, as you know, the district attorney has filed three separate motions to criminally convict you of contempt. It appears the $1,000 fines are not a deterrent for you,” he said. “You are the former president of the United States and possibly the next president… But I have to do my job, and part of that is protecting the dignity of the justice system.”

Judge, against Trump
Merchan called Trump’s actions “a direct attack on the rule of law.” “I cannot allow this to continue like this. So as much as I do not want to impose any prison time… I want you to understand that I will, if necessary and appropriate.” For violations of the gag order, a judge in New York can impose fines of up to 1,000 euros, but also a prison sentence of up to thirty days.
Tenth offense
It is already the tenth time that Trump has violated his gag order during the trial. Last week, he was fined $1,000 nine times and given a clear reminder to treat the New York court with the necessary respect. Because he failed to do so again, an additional fine was imposed. He did not respond to Judge Merchan’s words in court.
Multiple testimonies are scheduled for Monday on the twelfth day of the trial against Trump, including from Stormy Daniels herself. The case revolves around the hush money he made her pay to prevent her from coming public about the night they spent together. She received $130,000 from the president, which in itself is nothing wrong with it, but according to the New York prosecutor, it would have been campaign money that should not be used for that purpose. Trump has maintained for years that it is a politically motivated process and a witch hunt.
