The General Directorate of Taxes (DJP) commented on the video by artists April Jasmine and Ustaz Solmed through its official TikTok account. The video, commented by the General Directorate of Taxes, shows footage of April and Ustaz Solmed filming in their new, famously luxurious house.
The statement from the General Directorate of Taxes says that it monitors rich people. “Surveillance of rich people,” wrote the official account @ditjenpajakri, quoted on Saturday (01/27/2024).
Suddenly, comments from the General Directorate of Taxes caught the attention of Internet users with replies from a number of accounts with up to 488 reply comments.
The comment refers to April and Ustaz Solmed saying the words “Rich, rich, rich,” which was apparently jargon from the filming of the event.
In the video caption, April offers to join the company.
According to detikHot, Ustaz Solmed and April already own a luxury house that stands on a plot of around 4,000 m². There are 6 buildings built in one area of Ustaz Solmed’s house.

Contacted separately, DJP’s Director of Advisory, Services and Public Relations, Dwi Astuti, explained that the comments were intended to alert the public that the DJP is actively monitoring and profiling taxpayers.
“As part of the implementation of the duties and functions of the DJP in terms of monitoring the implementation of the rights and obligations of Indonesian citizens, particularly in relation to the fulfillment of tax rights and obligations,” he told detikcom.
