Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured today, as a result of the Israeli occupation’s ongoing aggression for the thirty-fourth day against the besieged Gaza Strip, in addition to its destruction of a number of homes, its bombing of hospitals, and its continued prevention of the entry of food, medical supplies, and fuel.
Palestinian media reported that, during the past hours, the occupation aircraft launched raids on homes in the Shawa Square area and the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah in the south of the Strip, Jabalia in its north, and Deir Al-Balah in its centre, which led to the death and injury of dozens.
The occupation bombed with air and artillery the gate of Al-Nasr Children’s Hospital and the courtyard of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. The Gaza media office said: The occupation’s bombardment of hospitals is a war crime according to international humanitarian law, and is criminalized by 16 international agreements and UN resolutions that guarantee the protection of health facilities.
The office added: Despite this supposed protection, the Nazi occupation ignores it, bombing 8 hospitals during the past three days, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded, and since the start of its aggression on the seventh of last October, it has caused 18 hospitals to be out of service.
