Enerdrape has raised 1.3 million francs from three Swiss investors: Romande Energie, the Mauvernay family business Après-demain and another real estate player who wishes to remain anonymous. The Renens Nugget specializes in geothermal panels. She designs them, has them made in Italy and installs them in basements, usually in parking lots, to capture their natural warmth in winter and their coolness in summer. Once the devices are installed, the energy is free.
Simple like photovoltaics, but just as efficient at night as during the day or when it rains, in summer or winter. These modules do not contain any rare metals or electronic devices and require no drilling. They do not generate electricity, but rather heat or cold via a heat pump. They have already brought Enerdrape several awards and support of 500,000 francs from numerous organizations. The company is also the winner of the SUD (“Sustainable Start-up”) Prize 2022, an award presented every year by Romande Energie and The weather.
