An envelope of 250 million euros. According to Europa Press, this is the amount of the loan approved by the Spanish government during a ministerial meeting at the end of December in favor of a subsidiary of the Acciona group. According to the Spanish Press Agency, it is a loan from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) granted to the Fund for the Internationalization of the Economy (FIEM) to finance projects of great importance for the internationalization of the Spanish economy interest are. Recall that last November the consortium of Acciona, Afriquia Gaz and Green of Africa won the contract for the construction and operation of the future seawater desalination station in Casablanca, the investment volume of which is estimated at around 800 million euros.
The project, led by the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE), involves the design, financing, construction and operation of a seawater desalination station with a capacity of 548,000 m3 per day or 200 million m3 per year for a period of 30 years, expandable to 300 million m3 per year.
