Construction of the Agdere-Agdam highway has begun.

It was noted that the width of the carriageway of the Agdere-Agdam highway, separated from the 9th km of the Sugovushan-Kalbajar highway and having a length of 33.5 km, is 9 meters. The road, the width of the soil bed will be 15 meters, is being built according to technical category II with two lanes.
“Currently, excavation works are being carried out on the highway according to the project. Thus, with the help of special equipment, work is being carried out to remove unusable soil and bring the road to the standard height, providing useful material, widening and profiling the road.
To ensure water transmission according to the project, round pipes of various diameters, as well as rectangular water conduits, are being laid along the newly constructed road. In addition, according to the project, five transshipment bridges are being built across the Khachynchay River on the territory of Agdam. Construction of bridge supports is currently underway.
The implementation of the project, carried out in accordance with the “Building Norms and Rules”, under the control of the leadership of the State Highway Agency of Azerbaijan, is carried out in accordance with the established schedule and in compliance with the technological sequence.
To ensure the timely completion of construction work, the required amount of labor and equipment has been brought to the territory.
