“I’m disgusted,” wrote Conor McGregor on their social networks to refer to the doping scandal that affects Ryan Garcíathe Californian boxer whom he had vehemently supported in the past since his first professional defeat. King25 years old, had just knocked out Devin Haney two weeks ago in a combat that shook the the status quo in the boxing elite, but on Wednesday controversy broke out after announcing his double positive in a pre- and post-fight check.
“He cheated with his weight and doped, expelled for life,” the Irish MMA star ripped off in a publication Xlater deleted. “It’s sad to see, and sad to say. I’m sad and kind of sick. Don’t come near me again if you see me, Ryan Garcia. I’m disgusted, really. This ostarine thing reminds me of Sean O’Malley, who was also in it. I don’t like it, I’m going to beat you both up, if you want a spar I’ll buy your flights right now. Hotel, everything… I’m going to fight with both of you, drug addicts, and “I’m going to ride you like you were ostriches,” wrote.
The UFC star, who will return to the octagon at UFC 303 against Michael Chandler, continued to throw insults at Garcia: “What the hell is going on, where do you think you are? If I were Haney’s father, you’d be dead for doing that. Crazy. What the hell happened to you, you insignificant idiot. Clear your head, because otherwise I’m going to crush it with my elbows. Well played, Devin, your performance has become even more heroic! Bravo. CLEAR YOUR HEAD or KILL YOURSELF,” he closed The Notorious in his tremendous and spectacular outburst.
García defends himself: “I don’t cheat”
Ryan García spoke out this Thursday about the accusations leveled against him on Wednesday, stating that the culprit of the positive test was the root of bumper, more popularly known as ginseng indio, a medicinal herb that provides physical and mental vigor.
The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) reported that García had tested positive before and after his fight against Haney this May 1 for using a steroid known as ostarine, in technical language enobosarmwhich increases the physical endurance of athletes.
“Everyone knows that I don’t cheat… these people are attacking me for whatever reason. I haven’t taken steroids in my life, I wouldn’t even know where to get them,” he commented in a video posted on his social networks.
The controversy is served, and McGregor, as he has done in the past, is once again very combative against those who cheat to win in the ring and in the octagon. In the past, the Irish fighter had his downs and downs with anti-doping agencies, especially USADA. He recently passed his first test in over two years with his return to the UFC in sight.

As global supply chains face disruptions due to ongoing challenges in the Red Sea, DP World presented a new solution to address the critical shortage of raw materials affecting Turkish importers in several sectors, particularly the automotive sector.
Given this, DP World used its global network to discover a previously underutilized rail route from China to Turkey to keep vital raw materials flowing.
In recent years, Turkey has become a manufacturing hub, especially automotive, and relies heavily on steel, chemicals and other essential raw materials from China. However, disruptions in the Red Sea have caused significant delays for both Turkish importers and exporters. Transit times have increased from approximately 25 days to 60 days due to the new route around South Africa, which has impacted the availability and predictability of vital supplies for the automotive industry.
DP World identified a previously underutilized Chinese rail service, which provides a transit time of 25 days on average to Turkey. This route, which begins in China, passes through Central Asia and Baku, Azerbaijan, from where the goods are then taken to Turkey.
Kris Adams, CEO of DP World Yarimca, said that “this new land route is a viable option that offers a middle ground in terms of speed and price, designed by our team to help customers navigate global disruptions. Air travel offers speed but is expensive and lacks capacity. The new route uses rail and truck services, ensuring a smooth and efficient transportation process from origin to destination.”
For its part, Rashid Abdulla, CEO and CEO of DP World Europe, He added that “the new route exemplifies our commitment to facilitating trade in Europe and shows our ability to devise rapid solutions that address our customers’ pressing challenges. “We remain dedicated to keeping trade flowing and supporting global supply chains.”
DP World has been operating in Turkey since 2016. Its operations in the country include locations such as Istanbul, Kocaeli, Ankara, Bursa, Izmir, Mersin and Adana.

Russian cannibal and murderous rapist fraternize at the front in Ukraine: “For the preservation of traditional Russian values”
The photo shows 36-year-old Dmitry Malichev and 38-year-old Aleksandr Maslennikov, both from the area of Volgograd (formerly Stalingrad) in southern Russia. The former led a criminal gang behind the murder of two businessmen in 2013. A year later, he murdered an immigrant from Tajikistan, cutting out his heart to fry and eat it at his home. A process that he filmed entirely with his smartphone, including when he ate his ‘meal’. “We bake a person. This is the heart. I already added the onion,” he reportedly said on the footage. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Maslennikov in turn murdered two women, Daria Labutina (29) and Olga Shaposjnikova (28), whom he had met in a karaoke bar and invited to his apartment. He confessed to having sex with Daria and then killing her in the bathroom. When Olga refused to have sex with him, he tied her up and strangled her. Even after her death, he stabbed her several times with a knife. Afterwards, he used an ax and a meat grinder to dismember the bodies of his victims. He gave some human remains to his dogs. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison.

Wagner a Storm-V
Despite their horrific actions, both gentlemen appear to be no longer behind bars but at the front in Ukraine. That’s not really surprising. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the Kremlin has recruited more than a hundred thousand detainees to strengthen Russian troops in Ukraine. In exchange for their service, they are eligible for a pardon. Late last year, The Washington Post reported that Russia’s prison population had fallen from roughly 420,000 before the war to 266,000 in October 2023.

Many of the detainees, often serious criminals, end up as cannon fodder, in the Wagner Legion of the late Yevgeny Prigozhin or in Storm-V, a military unit made up of ex-detainees. But some of the (ex-)criminals do survive and regain their freedom after a while. Last year, Russia saw an increase in the number of crimes committed by released prisoners. One such ticking time bomb was arrested a few months after his return home on suspicion of a six-fold murder.

Condoms in primary school
The first group of detainees was released after six months. The prisoners now sign for at least a year, although the Ministry of Defense can unilaterally extend that period. In practice, many recruited detainees appear to be stuck at the front until the end of the war.
“Alexander (Maslennikov, ed.) and I were in prison together and both signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense in October 2023,” Malichev told the Russian news medium V1 in a telephone conversation. The two are part of Storm-V and, according to Malichev, they are not just fighting for their personal freedom, but also for “the preservation of Russia’s traditional values.”

“I know inmates who only came here for the different environment. They usually disappear quickly. But I understood why I went. How would you react if your daughter was told in primary school how to properly put on a condom? Or will men walk down the street and lick each other? Is that normal for you? It is not normal for me,” Malichev explains his motivations.

The convicted murderer and cannibal was reportedly injured in February, but returned to the front. He is now said to be in hospital again. “During an attack maneuver, a grenade landed on me. I have a broken jaw, shrapnel in my knee and left hand and my left eardrum has burst,” he tells V1.
