The Minister of Public Works, Romeo Rodríguez, highlighted results obtained from the strategy implemented through vehicle and anti-doping controls in the country.
“We have a substantial reduction in drunk people who have caused accidents,” said Minister Rodríguez. He highlighted that to date 152 people have been arrested since last Friday, March 22.
Driving while intoxicated is not allowed. The official was emphatic in pointing out that many people think they can evade controls, but that the institutions are deploying the devices in a way that is verified car by car, and highlighted that the anti-doping fence strategy has given favorable results for the population.
Rodríguez recalled that the objective of the controls is to reduce the risk of traffic accidents to protect the lives of Salvadoran families, and in this holiday season, both national and foreign tourists.
He regretted that despite constant work to raise awareness, there are people who do not comply with the recommendations that the authorities issue regarding respect for traffic laws, and that it is only when they are sanctioned or arrested that they understand the importance of their actions when being in front of the steering wheel.
Rodríguez stated that beyond knowing how much they are going to pay for an improper turn, the important thing is that the person knows what they are not allowed to do while driving.
Kaloyan Pargov: The survival of this government is in the hands of the government itself
– 2024-04-02 23:00:30
/View.info/ Sofia. The survival of this government is in the hands of the government itself. Thus, the former leader of the BSP-Sofia Kaloyan Pargov defined the possibilities for the collapse of the quadruple coalition. In the overview of the day on Radio “Focus” “This is Bulgaria”, the socialist identified two problems that led to a drop in trust in the BSP from sociological surveys.
Painful problems begin to clearly remind of themselves
“So the first problem is the social vector and the blame for it. I will not blame it on the BSP, because all the decisions that are made, imposed by the other partners, will be written on the BSP, which is manifested in the trust that we see is decreasing and that is worrying.
The second problem is related to our participation in power and whether this participation in governance would solve any internal party problems? The answer to this question from the BSP’s experience is unequivocal – no, participation in power is never a panacea for any other problems. Yes, temporarily they will be suppressed, temporarily the party and everyone will be directed to the exercise of power and participation in power, but unfortunately, the pressing problems are clearly starting to remind themselves and they will not find their solution. And hypothetically, if they don’t find a holy solution, it could lead to another internal crisis, a purely party one,” explained Kaloyan Pargov in detail.
The BSP has accepted the role of being the social vector, of ensuring social justice and as such you can look for it in the most vulnerable groups and the growing poor
“And the number of growing poor and distressed pensioners is growing. In other words, it will weigh more and more on the wallet of the average Bulgarian, which is alarming and worrisome. And in this connection, the survival of the government is in the hands of the government itself. No external factors, neither in the East nor in the West, can help in a positive or negative direction for this government to cross this Rubicon,” he specified.
Two main problems in the municipality
“Heating” and transport, as well as providing them with gas, price policy and tariff policy in transport – these are the main problems awaiting a solution in the municipality.
Pargov also recalled the position of BSP, which remains unchanged – that the water sector in Sofia be managed by the municipality, through its own company.
“The water concession expires in 3 years, which means that within this term this topic will also be on the agenda in the Sofia public,” announced the former leader of the BSP-Sofia Kaloyan Pargov in conclusion.
