We are focused on strengthening the agency’s cybersecurity. The new platforms will be developed in accordance with the guidelines of the Office of Innovation and Technology Services (PRITS) and the Accessibility Act 229,” explained the Executive President of the AAA, Ing. Doriel I. Pagán Crespo.
For his part, the Vice President of Strategic Planning, Arnaldo Jiménez Acevedo, added: “Following the computer security incident, especially cybersecurity on the agency’s platforms, the information systems staff continued to work with GM Security, thus obtaining the company’s standard certification of Data Security for the Payment Card Industry (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) or PCI DSS, which was developed by a committee called PCI SSC (Payment Card Industry Security) composed of the major card companies (Debit and Credit Card Standards Council). “Our customers can be confident in the security of their transactions, knowing their card details are protected.”
PCI SSC is a set of security controls designed to protect payment card data. With this certification we offer our customers more security in payment transactions.
