The show by the Schiaparelli brand, which is behind the American designer Daniel Roseberry, regularly causes a stir in fashion. A year ago, the designer decided to send models onto the catwalk in dresses “decorated” with huge animal heads, which outraged not only all animal rights activists, but also many celebrities.
This year too, his show did not go unnoticed, on the contrary. In addition to eye-catching creations that often featured unconventional, structurally perfect cuts, glittering appliqués as armor or dresses that transform into masks, a model appeared on the runway wearing a white tank top, deconstructed pants and a bionic baby made from an old cell phone carried phones.
The little robot immediately became a star on social networks and sparked debate about the ethics of the act.

Inspired by the insect kingdom
The show by Indian fashion designer Rahul Mishra also offered a unique spectacle.
The collection was inspired by Mishra’s new connection with nature after he built a house in the Himalayan hills and realized he missed insects. “I started thinking about what insects have done to the world since they were here 300 million years before us. It created the pollination system and, in short, the way life works today. He created nature, the way we know the world and what it is. They are superheroes,” the designer said in a press release.

Watch from the show
The collection contained many models with motifs of insects, but also lizards. A top that realistically resembled a giant dragonfly, complemented by a simple black skirt, became an essential look.
There was spectacular gold embroidery and many fashionable turbans.

A spectacle like something out of Les Misérables
Fashion house Maison Margiela rounded out the Parisian haute couture season with a show-stopping collection led by designer John Galliano that would have pleased writers Honoré de Balzac or Victor Hugo.
The fashion show, which was more like a theatrical performance, took place in a warehouse vault directly under the Pont Alexandre III and was full of French archetypes. Some models faithfully imitated courtesans, Moulin Rouge dancers, night gamblers or robbers.
In addition, most of the characters wore makeup reminiscent of the wax mask of dolls, and the crazy eyes made the actors and actresses resemble the ghosts of the Seine or the residents still sleeping on the banks of the river under the bridge the show found instead of.
