Ita-Lufthansa, an EU spokesperson: possible postponement of the investigation deadline
Whether additional remedies will be presented by Lufthansa and the MEF to address the European Commission’s concerns regarding the planned gradual acquisition of Ita by the German company, “it is possible” that the deadline for the in-depth investigation, currently set for June 6, will be postponed. The executive spokeswoman confirms this EU for Competition Lea Zuber, during the press briefing in Brussels.

The massive event organization company Ticketmaster agreed pay a total of 3.4 million pesos to users affected by canceled events.
This was announced by the Federal Consumer Prosecutor’s Office (Profeco), an entity that highlighted that after an “unprecedented” class action lawsuit, Ticketmaster was able to pay for the events canceled between 2020 and 2023.
According to Profeco, the class action lawsuit against Ticketmaster ended with the ordering of the payment of a total of 3.4 million pesos for almost 500 affected consumers.

The lawsuit was finally resolved on Tuesday, April 23 at the Ninth District Court in Civil Matters of Mexico City andin favor of the hundreds of userss who accused Ticketmaster of “unilateral” cancellation of purchasing tickets for events:

- artistic
- cultural
- sports
The plaintiffs demonstrated the impact by which They got a full refund of their purchasein addition to service charges and a 20% bonus according to the lawindicated the Profeco.
Other buyers, affected by the cancellation of events during the Covid-19 pandemic, obtained compensation only for the cost of entry “because it is a global health emergency, not attributable to ticket offices.”

The 16th International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM) opened its doors to the general public on Friday morning in Meknes, after four days full of debates and exchanges between the different participants (ministers, professionals, experts, etc.) .
