What do you say if Windows 12 will be like this?

We’re all wondering what Windows 12 (if that’s the name) will look like, whether Microsoft will make any major changes, or whether they’ll tweak the Windows 11 interface.

Nobody knows what the user interface of “Windows 12” will look like

All we know is that Microsoft has been toying with the idea of moving notifications up. We know this because they gave a few seconds of insight into a new user interface during a video demo. Since then, we haven’t seen or heard anything from Microsoft about the big update, because as already mentioned several times: a big update is expected and not just permanent “momentary” updates from 11.

The last big reveal came just in December last year, when there was a report from Windows Central that shed light on several aspects of the operating system, which is rumored to be launching in August:

“As already mentioned, Intel will unveil its new CPUs with an AI NPU on December 14th. Several of the features in the new Windows require such a feature, claims Windows Central’s Zak Bowden. The big thing will be a new interface with an advanced form of CoPilot constantly working in the background (hence the need for new hardware). The technology will be able to constantly work in the background to “improve search, start projects, etc.,” understand workflows, understand context, and more. Sources say these AI features will be “game-changing,” as Windows Central revealed at the time, and there’s more:

  • Timeline that allows you to travel back in time using apps and websites that CoPilot remembers
  • Specific, filtered searches
  • AI will improve search and offer a natural language model
  • Super resolution Upscaling of games and videos
  • Improved live captions

The Start menu is being improved by Microsoft combining all services that can be used to create content, including File Explorer. This is the place to get started with Microsoft 365 projects, Windows Central reveals. The energy saving mode (a new one is already being tested) is also significantly better and can save up to 50 percent of the battery life with selected hardware. POOR? As we have already written several times, there will be a new user interface, but it is not certain whether this will happen next year. Among other things, they try to move the taskbar and toolbar to the top of the screen – and possibly the notifications too.

How about The?

But it’s fun to dream of a future, perhaps as early as this year, where Microsoft takes bigger steps in the user interface, because without a doubt there are things to change. How about removing the right taskbar and instead moving things up, like on a cell phone with “drop-down notifications”? There are also possibilities to integrate all Android functions much more comprehensively into the possible new menu mentioned, instead of having to resort to an external app, i.e. “phone connection”, as was previously the case.

The concept of the YouTuber “AR 4789” is to move the search to the top and install a floating app menu at the bottom, which gives the background more space. The start menu has also been significantly slimmed down.
