After almost four years of waiting and more than 1.5 million pre-orders, the Tesla Cybertruck has been unveiled, the first examples have been delivered to customers and there has already been the first publicly known traffic accident involving a car, reports Villanyautósok.hu.

According to a police report on the accident, a Toyota Corolla left the road, hit an embankment, then slid back onto the road, crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with the Cybertruck. The Tesla driver suffered minor injuries. It currently appears that the Tesla was not using its self-driving mode at the time of the accident, but a full investigation is still underway.

It is often heard about the Cybertruck that the three-ton pickup impales the cars that collide with it and that the safety of the occupants is questionable due to the short nose of the car, the car magazine reports. Three images of the accident appeared on Reddit:

These show that the Toyota suffered more damage, but so far very little is known about the circumstances of the accident, such as the speed of the cars or how much damage the Toyota sustained when it hit the road embankment before the accident with the Tesla .

According to the paper, the Cybertruck has a structure that is different from the usual structures in the automotive industry, and the car’s engineers are trying to solve things like occupant protection in different ways.

The Tesla Cybertruck, which already looks like a blockbuster, arrived two years late, and many people laughed at it because of a memorable glitch. His eyesight is not good for the retina either, but the success of the latest Tesla is certain, and not just because of the large number of pre-orders. The more powerful version of the futuristic pickup accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds.
