In the first race, which started with the number 30, Gērmane covered the course in 55.04 seconds and took 11th place in the competition with 63 participants. The Latvian athlete lost 2.13 seconds to American leader Mikeila Šifrina.

In the first race, Shifrin finished in 52.91 seconds. She edged out Croatian Zrinka Lutic by 0.52 seconds, while Swiss Melanie Mejar completed the top three, 1.35 seconds behind.

Of the 63 athletes who started in the first race, 46 alpine runners reached the finish, of which the best 30 qualified for the second race.

In the second race, however, Đermane achieved the sixth fastest finish time with a time of 55.26 seconds, placing him eighth overall.

Shifrina celebrated the victory in the sum of two trips, for whom it was the 95th success in the World Cup competition. She beat Lutic by 0.14 seconds, while third-placed Swedish athlete Anna Sven Lašone lost to the American by 0.81 seconds.

Germane lost 2.09 seconds to Shifrin in the total of both runs.

In the World Cup slalom standings, Shifrin has 630 points, 125 points ahead of Slovakia’s Petra Vlhova, while Germany’s Lena Dirr is third with 402 points. Germane is in 18th place with 95 points.
