According to an official source, the disease was mainly detected in four districts of Lusaka province, including Lusaka, the country’s capital. But it has now spread to other districts in the center of the country.
On Monday, President Hakainde Hichilema expressed sadness over the outbreak of the disease, adding that he was making every effort to make Zambia a center for the production of cholera vaccines.
