I admit that I passed up the Ratchet and Clank games as a kid. My first foray into the franchise came with the 2016 reboot. Ratchet and clamp. Since the “cutscenes” were actually just scenes from the movie, there was a slightly disjointed feeling as the game switched between scene and combat, with only a cold loading screen connecting the two.
