The complete lyrics of ‘Akureyri’, the song with which Aitana and Sebastián Yatra seal their relationship

A few days ago, Aitana Ocaña and Sebastián Yatra surprised their fans by revealing that this Friday, April 26, they were going to release a song together: Akureyri. It is a song dedicated to the Icelandic city with that name, a very special place for the former contestant of Operation Triumph 2017.

The news left shock to many of their followers, since the artists starred a few months ago in a very discreet relationship that neither of them confirmed until the one from Colombia declared to the press that they had decided to put an end to their courtship last November.

For a few weeks now, the media have been publishing different photographs of the artists together again, which would mean that they have decided to give themselves a new romantic opportunity or that they continue to maintain a close friendship.

The release of the song has had a great impact and has accumulated more than 270,000 views on YouTube in just a few hours. While some on social networks believe that it is a typical collaboration, others see in this musical track the confirmation of their romance, since they star in a story of love and complicity and do not hesitate to dedicate affectionate gestures to each other.

Letra de ‘Akureyri’

Smile at me one more time,

but I am capable

to extend this night

Stay to sleep

Besides me (the father)

tell me a little about yourself

I felt your pain

even if it’s hard for you to talk

You can tell me

In your green eyes I saw a little gray (Sebastian Yatra)

Pass me your coat, hug me

I’m not good, but I won’t be cold

but tonight with you I will find

my bed on your sofa (the father)

Your pillow arm will accompany me

to dream about Akureyri and fantasize

that we have time left together and forget

that tomorrow I wake up and you are no longer

You and I are left

Looking at the sky

waiting for a dawn

that doesn’t arrive and what difference does it make?

If it’s you and me

let the sky not shine

It doesn’t matter

you enlighten me much more

and that light will never go away (Together)

I looked at you, I looked at you and I thought of you

until you reacted

until you kissed me

a compliment, a blue

some pink lips and you,

and although it had an end

In the end it was no one’s faultSebastian Yatra)

It’s never anyone’s fault

but i will miss you

Pass me your coat, hug me

I am not good at the cold, nor will I be

but tonight with you I will find

my bed on your sofa

Your pillow arm will accompany me

to dream about Akureyri and fantasize

that we have time left together

and forget that tomorrow I wake up and you are no more

You and I are left

Looking at the sky

Waiting for an Aurora

that doesn’t arrive and what difference does it make?

If it’s you and me

let the sky not shine

It doesn’t matter

you enlighten me much more

and that light will never go away (Together).

Al Bilad newspaper A major corruption case.. The arrest of Rich Rasha, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Defense
– 2024-04-26 17:33:53

The chapters of the largest corruption case to shake Russia since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war are still unfolding.

The Moscow Courts Department announced the arrest of a third man in the bribery case involving Russian Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov.

It explained in a statement on Thursday that businessman Alexander Fomin is suspected of paying bribes to Ivanov, who was arrested yesterday, Wednesday, as well as to his assistant Sergei Borodin.

Judicial officials also noted that Ivanov, an ally of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, who was responsible for military construction projects and previously accused of living a lavish lifestyle in anti-corruption investigations conducted by the team of the late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, “was imprisoned pending investigation and trial on charges of bribery.” “

A very big bribe

In the details, it was found that Fomin and Borodin contributed to Ivanov receiving a “very large bribe,” a crime punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

According to the court statement, investigators told the judge that Ivanov conspired with third parties to receive a bribe in the form of unspecified real estate services “during contracting and subcontracting work to meet the needs of the Ministry of Defense.”

In turn, Ivanov’s lawyer, Murat Musaev, confirmed that his client is accused of “receiving a bribe in the form of free construction and repair work for his supposed personal property, in exchange for providing assistance to companies that were contracting with the Ministry of Defense, according to what was reported by TASS.”

While his other lawyer confirmed that Ivanov pleaded his innocence and maintained it.

betrayal?!

On the other hand, two sources close to the Federal Security Service, whose identities were not revealed, suggested that the bribery charges were aimed at concealing more serious accusations of treason, according to what independent Russian media reported.

However, Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskun denied the matter, stressing that the case was related to receiving bribes and corruption.

Ivanov supervised some construction work in Mariupol, a Ukrainian port city occupied by Russian forces early in the war.

The Russian military reported in the summer of 2022 that the Ministry of Defense was building a large residential building in Mariupol. Zvezda, the army’s official television channel, then broadcast scenes of Ivanov inspecting the newly constructed buildings.

In the same year, Navalny’s opposition team claimed that the Deputy Defense Minister and his family were enjoying luxury trips abroad, lavish parties and owning luxury properties.

Some opposition activists also claimed that Ivanov’s wife, Svetlana, divorced him in 2022 to avoid sanctions and continue living a lavish lifestyle.

All the arrested men are scheduled to remain in detention until at least June 23, including Ivanov, who was appointed to this position in 2016 by presidential decree, and oversaw property management, housing affairs and medical support for the army, as well as construction projects.

Relatively rare

It is noteworthy that the prosecution of high-ranking officials on corruption charges is still relatively rare in Russia, but it does happen.

In April 2023, former Deputy Culture Minister Olga Yarilova was arrested and charged with embezzling more than 200 million rubles ($2.2 million).

Yarilova, who held her position from 2018 to 2022, is currently on trial and faces a possible seven-year prison sentence.

Before that, former Economy Minister Alexei Ulyukayev was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2017 for accepting a bribe worth two million dollars from one of Putin’s senior aides.

However, Ulyukayev, now 68 years old, whose case was considered a struggle between the Kremlin’s wings, was released early in May 2022.
