TELEKO already has a DAB license. She wants to offer better coverage soon

The company TELEKO digital, as, one of the new holders of licenses for broadcasting digital terrestrial radio broadcasts in the DAB standard, wants to offer listeners in the regions a better quality of radio broadcasts.
TELEKO received the relevant broadcasting license for DAB broadcasting today.

“On January 23, 2024, TELEKO digital, as received a license from the Czech Telecommunications Authority to provide eight regions of the Czech Republic with the digital radio signal DAB,” TELEKO reported.
“We will immediately request coordination of the relevant approvals for our broadcast quotas. We expect to offer a significant improvement in the coverage of our TELEKO DAB network in Moravia, Silesia, Vysočina, North and East Bohemia in the near future,” TELEKO said in its statement.
TELEKO is one of the eight future operators of DAB multiplexes in the Czech Republic, where, in addition to the full-fledged DAB multiplex of the Czech public broadcaster (ÈRo), the experimental operation of DAB networks with programs from private broadcasters is also underway. TELEKO is one of the companies that has been testing digital terrestrial broadcasting for a long time. It will soon offer commercial operation of its DAB network.
The tender for DAB frequencies ended in the Czech Republic at the beginning of this year.
