Microsoft has quietly packaged artificial intelligence into a standalone application; anyone who has Android can already download Copilot.
Microsoft is vigorously developing its various AI-based solutions – one of the first swallows was the artificial intelligence-equipped search engine Bing, which received a chatbot similar to ChatGPT.
However, more recently, the company has begun separating its chatbot from the Bing brand, and the service is now available independently under the Copilot name.
Previously, anyone who wanted to chat with the chatbot on mobile devices had to download Bing’s mobile app and access the service within – but the disconnect has now reached a new chapter after Microsoft released a Copilot app. For that Neowin noticed.

However, Copilot can currently only be downloaded from the Play Store.
In terms of capabilities, there is no big change compared to Bing: the GPT-4 language model is also available (but can be disabled if necessary) as well as the Dall-E 3 image generation model.
With the help of this, the chatbot can answer complex questions, but also summarize long letters and documents easily – the possibilities are almost unlimited.
The Copilot app is free to download and does not offer any paid features. For now, iPhone owners will have to make do with Bing, which can be downloaded here. There is no exact date yet, but the novelty will probably appear on iOS soon.
