Evans (Toyota Gazoo) currently has a lead of 15.1 seconds in the overall standings over Belgian Thierry Neville (Hyundai Shell Mobis).
Last year’s winner of the Monte Carlo Rally, Frenchman Sebastien Ogier (Toyota Gazoo), completes the top three, 21.6 seconds behind.

The legendary Monte Carlo Rally continues on Friday and Saturday, a total of six stages are planned, and on Sunday the athletes will complete three more speed stages.
There will be 13 stages this season. The Latvian stage will also make its debut on the WRC calendar from July 18th to 21st.
Last season, young Finnish racer Kalle Rovanpere became a two-time world champion, securing the title one stage before the end of the season.
