The Sport Boules Malagasy Federation has decided to approve the men’s triplets final at the Madagascar Cup on April 7 in Antsirabe. ABMI’s request was rejected.
THE Fédération Sport Boules Malagasy validated the title of winner of the Madagascar Cup won by the Union Bouliste Manjaka (UBM) triplet on April 7 in Antsirabe. The Federation thus approved the final. The trio Faly Donald Andrianantenaina, Hery Nirina Edmond and Jeannie Alexander Razafinirina won 13-0 against the team of Amical Bouliste Mandrosoa Ivato (ABMI).
The president of the ABMI club, Miarimanana Razafinarivo, filed a request dated April 9, claiming “the violation of the rules relating to player transfers, particularly concerning the transfer of the person named Jeannie Alexander”. The Federation received the request sent by the Analamanga league on April 11. As planned, the winning team of the National Cup will represent the country at the next African Championship from June 6 to 9 in Morocco, in the event that the Federation receives in the meantime the official letter lifting the sanction… “We are in course of recovery of the management of the Federation according to the recommendations of the FIPJP, among other things the implementation of license management software and the reform of basic structures, … ” explains the interim president of the Federation, Adrien Julio Edouard Andrianirina.
Regulations
By applying the official regulations for pétanque approved by the executive committee of the Fédération Internationale de Pétanque et Jeu Provençal (FIPJP) in December 2020 and applicable to all territories of the national federations members of the FIPJP, in its article 31 specifying that “To be admitted, any complaint must be made to an arbitrator. As soon as the game is over, no complaints can be admitted.”
The Federation team thus decided yesterday that the decision of the request from the president of the ABMI club is not admissible. According to the explanations of the boss of the Fsbm, “the requested player has indeed made a transfer, by filling out the old document with a transfer signed by his former club, FAM Ambohipo… We do not wish to penalize a player who has already received authorization from his previous club. Furthermore, this case is not isolated, because 80% of the players participating in the Madagascar Cup completed the old transfer form.

AS Roma has qualified for the semi-finals of the Europa League at the expense of Milan. Despite an injury to Romelu Lukaku and a red card after the half hour, the Romans also won the second match against the Rossoneri.
In the second leg against Milan, Roma defended its 0-1 bonus from the first leg, but had no intention of digging in. On the contrary, it was the home team who scored first. Defender Mancini, also accurate in Milan, poked home the rebound after Pellegrini’s shot hit the post.
