At the end of the first half of 2024, the new Nu account will be available to the general public in the country, a savings account that is already in its initial stages and was announced a few weeks ago after the company received the approval of the Financial Supervisory Authority as a financing company.

As the company explained, in this first phase it will be open to Nubankers – Nu employees – their friends, family and some customers to test the functionalities and identify possible areas of improvement before offering it to more people.

After the pilot test, Cuenta Nu will be available to all people who have registered on the launch list and will then be able to reach the entire Colombian market.

Decency
In this regard, Marcela Torres, Managing Director of Nu Colombia, pointed out that “at Nu we develop launch strategies in phases to ensure that we receive early feedback that allows us to adapt and strengthen our proposal before the whole Land reached.” Process “It never stops because our goal is to develop products and services that respond to our customers’ needs in unique and different ways.”
(See: David Vélez is once again the richest in the country after Nubank’s milestone).
To register for the starting list, interested parties must be of legal age and reside in Colombia.
If you meet these requirements, you can go to www.nu.com.co/cf/cuenta and complete the process.
In addition to the savings account, Nu Colombia will also launch a debit card that will strengthen the company’s product portfolio.
Like the credit card, already used by more than 800,000 people in the country, the debit card will be available physically and virtually and will receive real-time notifications of every transaction, giving customers greater flexibility, security and more control over their money.
There are no processing fees for this card and it can be used in the country’s ATM network.
