John Deere expanded its lead in the tractor market
In 2023 it concentrated 41.3% of patents in this sector. It grew in units and market share.
In 2023, John Deere consolidated its leadership position in Argentina Tractorscon 2,430 units Patents and a market share of 41.3% of the total sales of the item.
That’s how it grew +16.7% compared to the units of the same brand patented the previous year (2,083 units), expanding the share it had achieved in this segment in 2022 (33.4%).

In a year marked by difficulties in importing imported equipment and components, most brands present in the local market reduced their sales compared to 2022.
Last year they were patented in Argentina 5,888 tractorswith a drop -5.7% regarding devices approved in 2022 (6,241 units).
Brands
Second place in the 2023 brand ranking was taken by New Holland, which concentrated 15.3% of industry sales with 901 patented units in the year.
He pushed Pauny into third place (813 units, 13.8%).
Fourth place went to Case IH (784 units, 13.3%).
Segments
John Deere’s leadership position was based on the brand’s strong presence in tractors. 51-90 hpwhere it concentrated 59.7% of the patents, with 917 units registered for a total of 1,535 teams included in this segment.
In the higher performance range, however, other brands performed better. For example with tractors 241-340 hp New Holland (31.4%) and Pauny (28.5%) had the largest market shares.
