The first winner class of the “Jobintech” program was launched in July 2023 and is already in operation. According to Maysoun Naciri, project manager, 70% of the 270 candidates or 189 IT talents who completed their training were integrated into the job market in companies, in pre-internships or through direct recruitment.

Supported by the CDG in collaboration with the Maroc Numeric Cluster, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Administrative Reform and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, “Jobintech” is a “Retraining and Upskilling” type training label. Train “job-ready” talent for the digital technology sector. This training and induction program is part of the strategic initiative to develop the IT sector in Morocco.

Goal: 1,000 winners by June 2024
The aim of the “Jobintech” program is to train 1,000 “job-ready” IT talents in a first phase by June 2024. Currently, 530 learners are being trained in around fifteen curricula. The first training courses, which started in July 2023, focus in particular on the topics of testing, coding, cyber security, web and mobile development, full-stack developers, full-stack, Java Script, Angular, database administration, etc .

“The first promotions are ready to enter the job market. This shows that the market is demanding and the training is of high quality,” Maysoun Naciri, head of the “Jobintech” project, told us. According to our information, these first integration results were achieved thanks to the mobilization and commitment of the partner companies throughout the training process. Specifically, the various partners of “Jobintech” work with students through skills development, workshops, company presentations and technical seminars. Additionally, HR experts share their best practices for resume writing, job searching, and interview preparation.

“All these interactions with company experts are a benefit for the learners,” says the director of “Jobintech”.

The training in the “Jobintech” program takes place over a period of 4 to 6 months in person, in intensive and immersive mode. These trainings are based in particular on the “learning by doing” methodology as well as the “boot camp” method, an intensive method that focuses on technical training and the performance skills necessary for integration and adaptation in companies. “The aim is to provide learners with technical and social skills and to give them the ability to independently learn how to learn.” This ability to learn independently is crucial in an environment where technologies are evolving very quickly.” explains Maysoun Naciri.

Digital competitiveness
“Jobintech”, a national vocational training initiative for young IT talent, aims to improve Morocco’s digital competitiveness by bringing a large pool of immediately employable talent to the market thanks to proven training methods. “Reskilling” and “Upskilling”.

In addition, the Maroc Numeric Cluster mobilizes the business ecosystem to promote the “Jobintech” program. Regular meetings called “Jobintech Fridays” regularly bring together companies, training providers and institutions to discuss the needs and problems of the IT industry. This exchange makes it possible to stay in touch with the changing needs of companies and respond to their requests.
