Delhi: The Confederation of All India Traders reports that the country will witness an industry worth Rs 50,000 crore this month coinciding with the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. CAIT general secretary Praveen Khandelwal said the opening of the Ram temple will help boost business in the country this month.
There is a huge demand in the Indian markets for unique fabric necklaces, medallions, key chains, models of Ram temples, pictures of Ram Durbar, Ramdhwaja etc. CAIT general secretary also said that dealers of all states have made extensive preparations to cater to the demand for additional to meet trade needs.
Depending on customer requirements, retailers have also launched a variety of accessories such as bangles and decorative pendants. There is also a strong demand in the market for kurtas, t-shirts and other customized garments with images of the Ram temple. Says the dealer association.
Scores of devotees and 7,000 invited guests will reach Ayodhya for the inauguration of the Ram temple. Airlines have already increased ticket prices to Ayodhya. Additionally, hotels in Ayodhya have increased room rates five times. The organization believes that traders across all industries will reap huge profits from this opportunity. There were reports that restaurants in Ayodhya would serve only vegetarian food during this period. When that happens, farmers and others will receive large orders to receive hundreds of followers.
