Last year, Avalanche Software launched the game Hogwarts Legacy (Hogwarts Legacy in the Polish language version) – initially the edition was available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One followed a few months later, and a version on Nintendo Switch was finally added in autumn 2023. Warner Bros. Discovery has boasted about its financial results several times before, but its latest results look really great. Hogwarts Legacy has lost none of its popularity.
Warner Bros Discovery has confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy has sold 24 million copies. At the same time, Avalanche Software confirmed that it is working on new elements for the game. Additionally, an additional mission that was previously only available on PlayStation consoles will be available on other platforms this summer.

On the occasion of the latest financial report, Warner Bros Discovery President David Zaslav confirmed the results of the latest games: Hogwarts Legacy and Mortal Kombat 1. The former has already sold 24 million copies across all platforms. The result is undoubtedly impressive, especially since Hogwarts Legacy even beat the latest Call of Duty. On the other hand, this shouldn’t surprise us given the enduring popularity of the brand created by JK Rowling. The second game mentioned above – Mortal Kombat 1 – has sold 3 million copies since its premiere in September.

Avalanche Software, in turn, confirmed that an additional mission will be released this summer on PC, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles, which is currently only available on PlayStation consoles (we’re talking about the mission with the haunted shop, which, by the way, is one of the most outstanding side quests in the entire game. Additionally, other new features are planned in the coming months, although Avalanche Software has not revealed any further details on the subject.
