jpnn.comJAKARTA – Deputy Chairman of the Golkar Party, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, said that his party hopes that the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government will provide proportional ministerial quotas when they officially take office later.
Doli conveyed this in response to journalists’ questions about Golkar’s hopes, regarding the allocation of cabinet seats for the next government.
“Yes, we (Golkar) hope to get proportional seats, which is good,” said Doli after holding a friendly meeting with Minister of State Secretary Pratikno at the Ministry of State Secretariat, Jakarta, Thursday (25/4).
Doli said that the most important thing is that those occupying cabinet seats will be professional people who are willing to contribute to helping the president in running the government.
“I think it has to be the best people, that is qualified“, which we will later endorse, which was agreed upon by Pak Prabowo and Pak Airlangga (Golkar General Chair Airlangga Hartarto),” he said.
Doli said that the indicator of a professional person is someone who understands the field they are assigned to, including having integrity.
