Fuvest published this Monday (22) the list of candidates admitted to the 2024 entrance exam for the largest university in Latin America, USP. The names can be viewed on the foundation’s website.
Those invited must confirm their registration in two virtual steps: pre-registration and acceptance.
The pre-registration period for participants admitted in the first call for applications begins on February 29th at 8 a.m. and ends on February 1st at 4 p.m. At this time, you will need to fill out a form on the USP website and send digital copies of the following documents: high school diploma, ID card and recent photo.
In the case of candidates identifying as Black, Black or Multiracial or Indigenous applying for PPI posts, submission of a Race Self-Declaration is required. In due course, a Hetero Identification Panel will analyze the condition of these candidates.
When registering in advance, the candidate can confirm their interest in passing the course or declare their withdrawal. In this case, you will participate in announcements and waiting lists for other courses that were selected in descending order of priority during registration. Each candidate can select up to four courses from the same profession in the registration form.
EFFECTIVE REGISTRATION
Registration must be completed between February 26th at 8am and February 28th at 4pm. To do this, you must follow the instructions sent to the email address registered at the time of registration.
The list of those accepted in the second call will be published on February 14th and the waiting list on February 26th.

What types of vacancies does FUVEST 2024 offer?
All registered candidates compete for vacancies through Open Competition (AC). When registering, the candidate should indicate whether they would also like to apply for open positions in Affirmative Action Policies: Public School (EP) or Black, Brown and Indigenous (PPI).
Alternating current: Vacancies available to all candidates, with no prerequisites required, including access to reserved vacancies
EP: 2,053 vacancies will be awarded to candidates who have completed secondary education in public schools in Brazil, regardless of income.
PPI: 1,206 open positions will be awarded to self-identified Black, Brown and Indigenous candidates who have completed high school in public schools, regardless of income.
In addition to the entrance exam, USP is offering 1,500 places through Enem and another 1,500 through Provão Paulista, a new serial entrance exam administered to all high school students in state schools in São Paulo.
If you have participated in the Provão Paulista, follow the information on the official website. Remaining vacancies from Provão Paulista will be offered as Fuvest EP or PPI positions depending on the advertisement.
