The final results are: Uno wins, Kagiyama comes second, Yamamoto gets his first podium in third, Miura comes fourth, Sato comes fifth and Tomono comes sixth. After this tournament, the representatives for the World Championship etc. will be announced, including Uno, Kagiyama and Miura. Kagiyama, Yamamoto and Sato were selected for the Four Continents Championship, but immediately after the game there were voices saying, “I want them all to be on the World Championship team.”
The fact that this is not an exaggeration is also reflected in one indicator: the scores. 6th Place Tomono’s score of 271.52 points corresponds to 6th place at the 2022 World Championships and 7th place in 2023. Additionally, Sato, who placed 6th in the free skate, will be in the 2022 tournament with 183.24 points take 3rd place and 6th place in 2023.
It was a performance at a high level with many good performances, including in the score.

“From the third group onwards I was really excited and Tacchan (Tsuboi), who I had been training with, was finally able to show the results of his training, so I was really happy.
