The new equipment is installed in the ESPA premises in Vontovorona.

Yesterday, in Vontovorona, the École supérieure polytechnique d’Antananarivo (ESPA) officially received and put into service cutting-edge equipment in the fields of industrial electricity, home automation, telecommunications, IT and automobile manufacturing. This equipment is intended for practical and advanced work for students trained at Atelier Luban, a professional training center specializing in these sectors.

The president of ESPA underlined the importance of this equipment for students, stressing “that they will be essential for the practical work which will make the students operational at the end of their training”. This training for higher technicians, which extends over three years and delivers a professional license diploma, was launched as part of a reinforced partnership started in 2019, involving the University of Antananarivo, ESPA and institutions Chinese educational institutions.

Fidiniavo Ravokatra, Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, praised these facilities as being in line with the pillars of the General State Policy, thus promoting practice and concrete learning for students.

Technical skills

This new phase of equipment, which includes cutting-edge technologies in industrial electricity, telecommunications, IT and automobile manufacturing, is part of a context of strengthening partnerships between ESPA, the University of Antananarivo and Chinese companies in Madagascar. These efforts aim to train and prepare students for careers directly in industries and telecommunications.

Professor Mamy Ravelomanana, president of the University of Antananarivo, highlighted the main lines of this initiative, which consists of aligning with other Luban workshops through training programs meeting the needs of Malagasy and Chinese companies, particularly in the fields of home automation, telecommunications and automobile manufacturing.

This is the target target after PIK2 becomes PSN

Jakarta – Some time ago, Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK2) is included in the list of National Strategic Projects (PSN). President Director of PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PANI), Sugianto Kusuma alias Aguan also revealed his targets regarding PIK2.

He said, as a developer with more than 50 years of experience, his party continues to strive to innovate and launch products that suit market demand which will be translated into marketing sales targets.

“PANI will uphold its commitment to all stakeholders and implement a business strategy that has been designed in such a way as to achieve medium and long term goals, at least 5 years from now,” said Aguan, as quoted from the IDX information disclosure, Saturday (27/ 4/2024).

As a continuation of the 2022 corporate action, PANI has completed a capital increase with a second pre-emptive right (PMHMETD). Thus, PANI has 1,607 hectares of land located in PIK2.

“I continue to encourage brilliant innovation to create an optimal market in PIK2 and sustainable profitability without sacrificing consumer trust,” he said.

His party is also targeting pre-sales in 2024 to reach 100%. Meanwhile, this year’s pre-sales target is IDR 5.5 trillion, while as of the first quarter of 2024 IDR 1.5 trillion or 27% of the target has been achieved.

“With our joint efforts and resources, I hope that shareholders can see sustainable growth in each period and I am very optimistic about PANI’s future business prospects and Indonesia’s economic growth in general,” he concluded.

It was stated that the significant increase in pre-sales occurred because of the high public interest in buying property in Indonesia in 2024, especially in the market segment promoted by PIK2. This is because the policies issued by the government generally support the property sector.

In the first quarter of 2024, marketing sales experienced an increase of 177% YoY compared to the same period last year, namely the first quarter of 2023, reaching IDR 534 billion. Achieving this increase was largely influenced by PANI’s success in acquiring 7 new subsidiaries which aggressively launched 12 new projects and began contributing to pre-sales to PANI in the first quarter of 2024.

For information, in March 2024, PIK2 will become one of the 14 PSN 2024. However, to fully develop PIK it will use private funds, not the APBN.

The PIK2 development project is estimated to use 1,755 hectares of land. Some of the projects that will be developed are Eco-Park, Safari Tourism, Golf Course, Mangrove Tourism, and the International Circuit.

Preliminary calculations for the total investment could reach around IDR 40 trillion and will be built starting in 2024 and targeted for completion in 2060. In planning the total investment will be facilitated by the private sector and is not targeted using the APBN/APBD.
