Ryan Reynolds reprises his role as the most talkative of the red-clad mutants for Deadpool’s first adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). To save his loved ones from an unknown threat, he recruits – by force – Wolverine, played for the tenth time by Hugh Jackman.
Directed and co-written by Montreal native Shawn Levy (Free Guy, This Is Where I Leave You), Deadpool & Wolverine Emma Corin (The Crown), who presumably plays Cassandra Nova antagonist Matthew Macfayden (Succession) in the role of Paradox, as well as Morena Baccarin and several other actors who played Wade Wilson’s friends seen in both Deadpool previous ones.

British news presenter Huw Edwards has resigned from his employer BBC, according to the broadcaster on “medical advice”. Edwards had not been seen as a presenter since July. He there was including being accused of paying a minor for sexually explicit photos.
Edwards worked for the BBC for forty years, rising to become the presenter of the broadcaster’s main TV news programme, the Ten O’ Clock News. The 62-year-old presenter was one of the BBC’s highest-earning presenters, earning more than €400,000 a year. According to the broadcaster, he will not receive any money because of his departure.
Edwards announced, among other things, the death of Queen Elizabeth in 2022 and was the anchorman of important broadcasts around elections, the 2012 London Olympics and royal weddings.
Not a case with the police
The broadcaster says it has “accepted” Edwards’ resignation and believes “all parties can now move forward”. “We believe it is not appropriate to comment further,” the statement said. Edwards has not appeared in public since the allegations emerged.
The police have not taken any action against Edwards. According to the London and Welsh police, investigations have shown that there is no evidence that Edwards has committed any criminal offences.
His wife Vicky Flind announced in British media after reports about an unnamed BBC presenter that Edwards had been admitted to hospital with mental problems.

Grammy-winning and American Idol star Mendisa has died mysteriously. The musician was found dead at his home in Franklin, Tennessee. Mendisa was 47 years old at the time of her death.
According to a BBC report, the initial cause of Mendisa’s death was not immediately known. The Franklin Police Department has opened an investigation into his death. Mendisa’s rep confirmed the news of the singer’s death in a statement.
While a student at Fisk University in Nashville, Mendisa Fisk began her musical career with the Jubilee Singers. In 2006, Mendisa rose to fame after participating in Season 5 of American Idol. where he caught the eye of the audience competing with winner Taylor Hicks.
