An American woman sued her dentist who performed more than 30 procedures on her at the same time

According to Kathleen Wilson, she then had to see another dentist who corrected the original, and according to the complainant, sloppy work. In her court complaint, Wilson described the significant injuries she said the original visit to Kevin Molldrem caused her.

The patient states that Molldrem cleaned four dental canals, placed eight dental crowns and performed 20 fillings in one visit. The doctor also gave the woman a “significantly higher dose of anesthetic” than recommended and then falsified the medical records about the administration. CNN wrote that Molldrem was contacted for comment, but the doctor did not respond.

Wilson’s attorney, Nathaniel Weimer, said he asked Avrum Goldstein, a dentist who works at one of Florida’s teaching hospitals, to provide an independent report. In November of this year, Goldstein confirmed Molldrem’s ruling that “essentially every tooth in the patient’s mouth was suffering from decay,” but Goldstein said Molldrem’s treatment approach was flawed because correction was “not humanly possible in a single visit.”

After the court, Wilson is demanding that the dentist be ordered to pay $50,000 (approximately 1.1 million crowns) in damages.

The insurance did not pay for the dental crown repair. The patient swallowed the evidence
