As you probably remember, recent RX 7600 XT leaks suggested 10 or 12 GB of VRAM. Such a capacity would make a lot of sense as it would perfectly fill the gap in the Reds’ offering. However, the latest entry in the EEC database suggests that Gigabyte is preparing Radeon RX 7600 XT devices in non-reference gaming versions (OC and non-OC) with up to 16 GB of VRAM. However, we don’t know whether the memory mentioned is based on a 128-bit or 256-bit bus. The general specification of the card is also a mystery, although it appears that the whole thing will be based on a trimmed Navi 32 core.

On the other hand, such a system could cannibalize sales of the higher-positioned Radeon RX 7700 XT with 12 GB VRAM (192-bit). In addition, the question arises as to whether a mid-range card will even utilize the potential of such a large memory. We hope all rumors will be cleared up soon.
